Tanzania Red Cross Society joins other volunteers in the world to celebrate their day

The Tanzania Red Cross Society headed by TRCS vice president Ms. Lucia Pande celebrates World Volunteers’ Day on 5th December 2021 by cleaning up areas at Mabibo Market, Tandale Primary School, Ferry Fish Market and Mbande Hospital as a way of doing charity activities.

Speaking to Volunteers who arrived at the event Ms. Lucia Pande congratulated the Dar Es Salaam Regional Volunteers and asked them to be ambassadors to encourage more people to join the Red Cross Volunteers as TRCS is a Voluntary Organization whose capital depends much on people.She urged citizens to join TRCS to become members and volunteers so that we can be reached on time and sufficiently when the community needs us.

Hon.David M.Kihenzile, the president of Tanzania Red Cross Society, congratulated volunteers for the good work they are doing and for the volunteering activities they always participate.He wanted to be with the team during the event  but he was in other responsibilities and he wished all Volunteers all the best on their day.

At the accasion, TRCS vice president Ms. Lucia Pande was accompanied by Mr.Tryphone Mkolokoti (TRCS-NEC Member) and chairman of RMC Dodoma along with TRCS headquarters executives led by the Deputy Secretary General Mr.John Busungu, The First Aid Coordinator Mr. Kheri Isaa, Ms.Seki Kasuga and Ms. Anna Lukele from the PR &Communication unit.
