Today 5/7/2023, the Secretary General of Tanzania Red Cross - Ms. Lucia Pande accompanied by the representative of the Spanish Red Cross, Tanzania, Ms. Anna Albion Sanchez, toured the Spanish Ambassador in Tanzania at Chakulu clinic in Uvinza district which was built with funding from Spanish Red Cross.

The ambassador was accompanied by his assistant Mr. Jose Ramos Garcia together with the embassy advisor Mr. David Santos Marian.

Chakulu Clinic (Parents and Children's Ward), Uvinza District was handed over at the beginning of March this year to the leadership of the District Council which currently provides maternal and child health services.

During the visit, the Secretary General of Tanzania Red Cross gave sincere thanks to the Spanish Red Cross on behalf of the president of Tanzania Red Cross Society, Hon. David Kihenzile (MB) for continuing to collaborate in various ongoing and completed projects at Uvinza District in Kigoma Region.

Today 4th July 2023, the Secretary General of the Tanzania Red Cross Society - Ms. Lucia Pande toured the Spanish delegation in Tanzania led by their Ambassador in Tanzania Mr. Jorge Morages with his assistant Mr. Jose Ramos Garcia and the adviser of the embassy Mr. David Santos Marian, with a stakeholder from the embassy Mr. Carlos Bastos Mella in Nyarugusu camp in Kigoma Region. The visit also involved the representative of the Spanish Red Cross in the country, Ms. Anna Albion Sanchez, where together they visited the Health Center (Main Hospital) under the management of the Tanzania Red Cross Society. and emerging challenges. The Secretary General has congratulated the Nyarugusu team led by Dr. Mohamed Abbas for the good work they continue to do and urge them to continue with the same speed

Belgian Red Cross Visits Buhigwe Water Project in Kigoma Region

Today, January 9, the BRC Guests and their Representative Ms. Leila Kibet (BRC Project Manager) accompanied by their host Tanzania Red Cross Society led by Deputy Secretary General Mr. John Busungu, visited the Songambele Water Project at Buhigwe which was funded by BRC. This is the beginning of a high time visit to such projects.
